Khalid .. Diam aje la
erisar |
Jangan bersuara. Somethings better left unspoken.

Anwar is Back !!!
From My Sinchew
Opposition icon Anwar Ibrahim’s return to parliament spells leadership change in Malaysia.
Despite a nasty campaign against him, opposition icon Anwar Ibrahim has won spectacularly in a landmark by-election in the family stronghold of Permatang Pauh, confirming his stature as possible prime minister with truly national appeal, cutting across race and religion.
Victory on August 26 by a 15,500-vote majority signals that Anwar has re-arrived politically after suffering a severe setback in 1998, following charges of sodomy that saw him jailed for six years. His opponent Arif Shah Omar Shah managed just 15,524 votes or about half as many votes as polled in favour of Anwar.
The return to parliament of the man who once was deputy prime minister has shaken the political establishment and brought him one step closer to the stated goal of seizing the top job.
“The next step is Putra Jaya,” Anwar told thousands of cheering supporters outside the counting centre in Bukit Mertajam, a suburb of the Permatang Pauh constituency, referring to the administrative capital that houses the office of Malaysia’s Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi.
“We won and our victory is decisive and overwhelming,” he said. “This is a victory for the people. And it’s great to be back,” Anwar said. He described the occasion as a “defining moment for the new Malaysia minus race, fear and discrimination”.

'They call me a cyber terrorist'
Malaysianinsider | ...To ordinary Malaysians, Raja Petra Kamarudin is something like a rockstar. As publisher and editor of Malaysia Today, the self-confessed hippie has delighted his fans by turning up the heat on the nation's troubled politicians, who vainly attempt to rebuke him or feign indifference whenever his name is mentioned.
"They call me a cyber terrorist," he says with a smile and a slight sense of bewilderment.
Politicians try to dismiss him as a mere blogger, which in Malaysian parlance is a term with its own nuances as the country's leaders eagerly attempt to relegate their critics to the status of second-class citizens because they communicate through the Internet as opposed to the mainstream media.
Former information minister Datuk Seri Zainuddin Maidin referred to Raja Petra and other bloggers as off-key karaoke singers who like the sound of their own voices, but lack real public influence. Azril Amin, vice-president of the Muslim Youth Movement of Malaysia once wrote that Raja Petra had failed to
meet his responsibilities by defaming Islamic organisations. He also said Raja Petra had a confused misunderstanding of Islam and was appalled by his "vulgar-languaged polemic".... selanjutnya.

Too many ‘foreign’ spirits in this school
GHOSTS, spirits, jin and other supernatural beings are abundant at SMK Tanjung Lumpur, claim dozens of bomoh as well as spiritual and faith healers who have visited the school in Kuantan in the past weeks.
Some of the bomoh have even claimed that they have "communicated" with the spirits who were responsible for bouts of hysteria at the school since May.
The so-called spirits, which are aplenty based on the names given by the bomoh, have made several demands including a special feast before they leave the school.... NST

Abdullah bentangkan belanjawan Titanic - Shamsul Iskandar
