Najib brushes off Internet accusations

Nst | Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak yesterday shrugged off the latest Internet allegations against him of power abuse and corruption.

He said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi had already affirmed that there was no interference in the police investigation of the slaying of Mongolian model Altantuya Shaariibuu.

"What does it matter?" he said when asked about a website's allegation on the exchange of text messages between him and a former lawyer for Abdul Razak Baginda, who is on trial for abetting the murder.

"What is important is that there is no abuse of power. Even the prime minister has clarified the matter," he said.... selanjutnya.
