Nazri did not intend to mislead, rules Deputy Speaker
Malaysianinsider | Deputy Speaker Datuk Dr Wan Junaidi Jaafar ruled today that Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz will not be referred to the Parliamentary Privileges Committee over his statement to Parliament that judges involved in the 1988 judicial crisis were not sacked even though they were actually removed and their services terminated by a special tribunal.

His ruling sparked outrage in the opposition benches, and a row which ensued resulted in one MP being ejected from the House.

Explaining his reasoning, Wan Junaidi ruled that Nazri's statement was not intentionally misleading.... more.
