Report rock BN

Shocking!!!
hard-t.blogspot.com

Today report by Bernama, can rock Barisan Nasional in the 12th GE. And its is learn that the editors of the mainstream media (MSM) was asked not to carry the report 'Early Deciders Make Up About 70 Percent In Any Constituency'.

The report said that University Sains Malaysia political sociology lecturer Dr Siva Murugan Pandian says 50 per cent of 70 per cent electorate who have made their mind on the candidates, will choose BN and 50 per cent opposition.

The remaining 30 per cent voters were fence-sitters who Dr Siva says have their tendency to vote against BN as a sign of protest.

Protest vote: This is what I want to share on my earlier report on 'Tok Mun can make world history'.
And, this is also what BN fear now. Like former deputy PM Musa Hitam said in an interview in the New Sunday Time and pickup by Reuters.

KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) - Malaysia's ruling coalition is braced for a possible
protest vote at elections next weekend, but the word on the street is that
apathy may be the real threat. Campaigning for the March 8 polls has so far
focused on clear signs of discontent in the minority ethnic Indian and Chinese
communities with the coalition's policies on race and religion.

Meanwhile, political analyst Assoc Prof Dr Mohammad Agus Yusoff, with three more days to polling on Saturday, there is an abnormally high percentage of silent voters, estimated at between 35 and 40 per cent of the electorate, in most parts of the country in this general election.
The figure was almost double the average of about 20 per cent of silent voters in any general election. "Ground assessment showed that they have not made up their minds for reasons best known to them.

Wartawan media perdana : Rezeki yang bagaimana?

alkerohi
Hebatnya wartawan media arus perdana.

An Open Letter to Chandra Muzaffar

Malaysiatoday
Thursday, 06 March 2008

Many years ago in the 1980s, then leader of the Labour Party in England, Denis Healey, was openly criticized for having been a member of an extreme Left political party in his younger days.

His simple response was that he also believed in Santa Claus in his younger days! Indeed, all of us – without exception – change as we age and as we learn more about life. Some more so than others, of course, but change we certainly do.

This, unfortunately, is something that seems to have been lost on Chandra Muzaffar in his widely – almost gleefully – published diatribe against Anwar Ibrahim in the mainstream newspapers today, Tuesday, 4 March. Like his equally disingenuous friends in the BN coalition who are perhaps unable to counter much of the Opposition front’s critiques against the failure of BN rule, Chandra – out of the blue, after having been quiet for so long – suddenly decided to rip into Anwar. “He’s singing a different tune now”, asserted Chandra. Anwar’s “Deceiving Malaysians”, claimed another headline attributed to Chandra.

The gist of Chandra’s personal attack is that Anwar is saying things now that are the opposite of what he said and did when he was high up in UMNO. This, of course, is nothing new and Anwar himself has addressed these criticisms often enough.

It’s a trifle ironic that Chandra is ‘coming clean’ and saying all this of Anwar now, when he himself appears to be doing the exact opposite of what he was doing when in ALIRAN and Keadilan. Before, he consistently argued against the BN having a 2/3 majority, and the need for a strong Opposition. Now, on the eve of the elections, he seemingly dismisses the Opposition and asserts that, despite its flaws, there is no other viable coalition beyond the BN. How fortuitous. I guess when you’ve been offered a cushy position in a state university for two years, you tend to ‘change’ somewhat.

Dear Chandra, selling out is fine, prostituting yourself is understandable as you age and wither. But becoming a willing tool of a corrupt, arrogant and racist regime at this critical juncture devalues, indeed destroys, whatever good work you may have done thus far. May God guide you.

Abdullah Ahmad Badawi

Abdullah: Retracting Ink Use Not A Ploy, Opposition Using It As Excuse

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi today lambasted the opposition which claimed that the decision not to use indelible ink on polling day Saturday was a ploy by the Barisan Nasional (BN) to cheat.

“There is no such thing, we never cheat. We have been successful not because we cheated, we did well and we worked hard,” he said.

He said that the opposition would now use the Election Commission’s (EC) decision yesterday as the “best excuse” if they lose in the election.

“Now the opposition is happy because now they have an excuse to tell the whole world why they cannot succeed in the election. It’s the best excuse for them,” he told reporters after a meet-the- people session at Kian Kok secondary school here, today.

EC chairman Tan Sri Abdul Rashid Abdul Rahman yesterday announced the decision to scrap the indelible ink plan for the election following legal advice, and to ensure security and public order.

He said that investigations following a report to the police had confirmed that irresponsible groups had bought the ink from abroad to persuade and bribe those who were not so sure about the use of the ink by smearing ink on their fingers even before they voted.

Asked if BN was unhappy that the indelible ink ruling was not implemented, Abdullah, who is also Barisan Nasional chairman, said: “Well, we would have certainly welcomed such a move, but if it cannot be done we cannot just forget our election… election is election and we go ahead.”

“We (BN) have won many elections before, this is not the first time, it’s not even a second or third time, it’s the twelfth time… the election has been conducted very well, it’s the same, and the person who is the Election Commission chairman is a very experienced man, who has done well before.

“But these people (the opposition) have a lot of excuses, now they accuse that they are being cheated,” he said.

To another question on promises made by the opposition to win votes, such as promising a second Deputy Prime Minister from Sabah if they won the polls, he said the opposition was fond of making promises because they knew they could not win.

“They promise all sorts of things, if they don’t get it (win), then they would say sorry we can’t do it because the BN cheated us.

“In the first place, they don’t have a chance of winning because they are not contesting all the seats to form the government. They just want to deprive us (the BN) of the two-third majority, and with that kind of objective, they were talking about electing the second Deputy Prime Minister

“The opposition make all sorts of promises, but they are all false. Promises that cannot be kept and made only to make the rakyat happy,” Abdullah added.

The Prime Minister said that the BN government did not have to make false promises as it already had the Ninth Malaysia Plan and evidence of success from other projects and programmes.

Asked on the level of cooperation among BN component parties in Sabah, Abdullah said that although the level of cooperation was good, there was still room for improvement.

“They (Sabah BN component parties) have improved. They have to work together because the most important is only when the party wins, can we form the government.

“We want to form the government because we would like to carry on what we started, money allocated and machinery set up,” he said.

Abdullah also expressed confidence that the people of Sabah would make the right decision to support the BN come Saturday.

PM Club members in ugly shouting match with hecklers

NST

A routine trip to the Permatang Pauh market to hand out Barisan Nasional souvenirs developed into an ugly shouting match today. A convoy of 10 cars from the 'We Love Pak Lah' Club was caught in an altercation when an unidentified man accused the supporters of blocking traffic in front of the market.

Club members present, comprising mostly young women, were taken aback when the man suddenly appeared on the scene and began shouting obscenities at them.

"You're blocking the road, get out of the way," he shouted at them. The man, dressed in a navy t-shirt with a red collar, began swearing at them, telling the women they were wasting everyone's time.

Group leader Ani Mayuni said male club members accompanying them stepped out of their cars and tried to calm the man down. "They apologised to him and tried to explain that we were simply trying to distribute BN campaign souvenirs to the public but he kept shouting."

The situation became tense when a group of other men converged upon the group and joined in, verbally abusing the women.

"These men tried to block our cars and open our doors,” said Ani, who was clearly affected by the incident. “Someone even took off his shoes and threw them at us.”

"That was the most frightening incident for us in the 12 days we've been campaigning for BN in Penang," she added.

The fight ended when the convoy eventually drove off half an hour later. By then, the unidentified man who had started the argument had disappeared.

"We came here just to support BN and to distribute badges, stickers and fans, that's all,” Ani said. "We didn't expect to be caught in such a situation." - NST

ZULKIFLI BIN NOORDIN : GAMBAR & REPORT POLIS

zul4kulim

06 March 2008

KENYATAAN AKHBAR
ZULKIFLI BIN NOORDIN
CALUN PARLIMEN P-18
KULIM BANDAR BAHARU
KULIM REPOT NO: 001625/ 08
BERTARIKH 04.03.2008

by Raja Petra
Malaysiatoday

Tunku Abdul Rahman, Bapa Merdeka, refused to join Umno Baru in 1988, as did Tun Hussein Onn. Both these founding fathers of Malaysia died outside Umno. They wanted to have nothing to do with Umno. They went to their graves despising the new Umno, which they said no longer represented what Umno stood for.

NO HOLDS BARRED

Raja Petra Kamarudin

The government is saying: Melayu Umno bodoh! That is not what I am saying. That is what the government is saying. And because Melayu Umno bodoh, the government has cancelled the plan to mark the fingers of voters to prevent them from voting twice.

The government has spent millions to import this ink from India. But it seems others have also imported the same so the government has no choice but to cancel the plan to mark the voters' fingers because these unknown people who have also imported this ink plan to trick the Umno Malays and sabotage them from voting.

According to the government that has declared Melayu Umno bodoh, those who have also imported the Indian ink plan to tell the government supporters, the Umno Malays, that they must first mark their fingers before they can vote. Then, when they go to the polling stations, they will not be allowed to vote since their fingers have already been marked with Indian ink.

Of course, the more cleverer opposition supporters will not allow their fingers to be marked before they vote. It is only the government supporters, the Melayu Umno bodoh, whose fingers will be marked. So the opposition supporters will still get to vote. It is the government supporters, the Melayu Unmo bodoh, who will not be allowed to vote because only these people would be stupid enough to allow their fingers to be marked before they vote rather than after they vote like the opposition supporters.

The government appears to have no confidence in its supporters. The government feels that its supporters are all stupid enough to fall for this ploy. The government appears to believe that the opposition supporters are not stupid enough to fall for this trick. Therefore, it is the government that will lose votes because only its supporters are stupid enough to allow their fingers to be marked before they vote while this will not happen to the opposition supporters.

The government feels that the Chinese and Indians will swing to the opposition. Many Malays will as well, of course. So the government needs as many Malay votes as it can get, in particular in the rural areas. The Chinese and Indians who will vote opposition will not fall for this trick. Neither will the Malays who vote for the opposition. It is only the Malays who vote for the government who are stupid enough to fall for this trick. So the government needs to cancel the plan to use Indian ink to mark the fingers of the voters lest the number of votes it gets is reduced due to trickery.

I am not a Malay who supports the government so I am not offended that the government thinks that Malays who support the government are stupid. Some Umno Malays want my citizenship withdrawn for criticising the government and which therefore, according to them, makes me a 'traitor to the Malay race'. Yes, that's right, if you oppose Umno then you are a traitor to the Malay race.

I have no problems if they wish to withdraw my citizenship. They can even withdraw my Melayuship as well if they want to. Hey, a Malay is automatically a Muslim. So if they wish to withdraw my Islamship as well that is also okay with me. Then, when the government declares that Melayu Umno bodoh, I would not be included in that group. There is, after all, some small blessing in losing your citizenship, Melayuship and Islamship. I would automatically lose my bodohship as well.

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad probably agrees with what the government says. Mahathir said, a few months ago, that the trouble with the Malays is that even if they put a block of wood (tunggul kayu) as a candidate, as long as it is a Barisan Nasional candidate, the voters will vote for him or her.

The Malays are very emotional and unrealistic, lamented Mahathir on another occasion. The Chinese are more pragmatic, added Mahathir. Why can't the Malays be more like the Chinese? sighed Mahathir.

Melayu mudah lupa, complained Mahahir on yet another occasion. Yes, Mahathir should know that by now. When I was Prime Minister, the Umno Malays would fall over each other in rushing to kiss my hands, Mahathir related during one public speaking event. Today, they are scared of being seen with me and will not even take my calls, lamented Mahathir. If that is not the best example of Melayu mudah lupa then I don't know what is.

Mahathir received another dose of Melayu mudah lupa recently when Umno refused to allow his son to contest in Langkawi. Langkawi would not exist if not because of Mahathir. Mahathir made Langkawi into what it is today. But, today, Mahathir's son is not welcome in Langkawi. Instead, they sent him to Jerlun to contest. But he was sent to Jerlun not to win. He was sent to Jerlun to be slaughtered. First they deny Mahathir's son a seat in Langkawi. Then they send him to Jerlun to get slaughtered. Melayu Umno mudah lupa my dear Tun, Melayu Umno mudah lupa. But I am not a Melayu Umno, Tun, so I never lupa. And now Umno says that Melayu Umno bodoh as well.

Yesterday, I was in Penang. There were numerous ceramahs organised all over Penang. The police granted the organisers permits for these ceramahs but on condition that I would be barred from speaking. Haris Ibrahim and Ronnie Lui were also banned from speaking. I still spoke nevertheless. I spoke at Jalan Raja Uda. I was waiting for the police to come a calling and if they shout, “Hoi, you think this is your grandfather's road or what?” I would have replied, “Yes it is, my grandfather was Raja Sir Tun Uda.”

Melayu Mudah lupa, as Mahathir says. My grandfather became Penang's First Governor immediately after Merdeka on 31 August 1957. He was Governor for 15 years. Today, 50 years later, the grandson of the First Governor is barred from speaking in Penang.

Anyway, my grandfather never joined Umno. None of my family did. My father supported what he perceived as the first true multi-racial party at that time, Gerakan. And he proudly declared that he voted for Gerakan in the 11 May 1969 general election.

Tunku Abdul Rahman and Tun Hussein were great men. And these great men turned their backs on Umno. I would rather follow the footsteps of great men such as those than support a party that declares Melayu Umno bodoh and then cancels the plan to mark the fingers of voters because government supporters would allow their fingers to be marked before they vote instead of after.

Actually, cancelling the plan to mark the fingers of voters is not about Melayu Umno bodoh at all. I know many Umno Malays and I have great respect for them. Not all Umno Malays are slimeballs and scumbags, just like not all opposition people are angels. You have good and bad people in any society. One must not be labelled good or bad based on their race, religion or political affiliation but based on the person that they are.

Barisan Nasional is running scared. According to intelligence agency reports, Kelantan, Terengganu, Perlis, Kedah and Penang will fall to the opposition. Even Johor, which has never seen a single seat fall to the opposition thus far, may see the loss of ten seats or more. That would have been unheard of even just one year ago. On last count, the opposition may capture up to 90 seats in Parliament. It needs 75 seats to deny Barisan Nasional its two-thirds majority in Parliament.

The Chinese and Indian votes are a forgone conclusion. The Chinese and Indians are voting opposition. Barisan Nasional has to work on the Malay seats to stay in power. So they will raise racial and religious issues these next 48 hours to frighten the Malays into voting Barisan Nasional.

Tonight, the Deputy Prime Minister 'revealed' a 'secret pact' between PAS and DAP. They hope the Chinese will get scared and abandon DAP lest PAS gets into power and 'chops of people's hands'. Najib has reduced Islam to merely 'chopping of hands'. That, to Najib, is what Islam is all about, hand-chopping.

Are all Chinese bank robbers? Will we see every Chinese in Malaysia without hands once PAS comes into power? Do not the Chinese resent the insinuation that there is not an honest Chinese in Malaysia and all Chinese will go to their graves with no hands? I hope the Chinese are not that stupid and will be able to figure out that if it is crooks who will suffer severed limbs then it will be those who walk in the corridors of power who will suffer this since they are the crooks and scoundrels. If I were Chinese, I would vote PAS just so that PAS can come into power and we can enjoy the pleasure of seeing all our ex-ministers walking around without hands.

Anyway, PAS is contesting just 60 seats so there is no way a party that contests only 60 seats can win 150 seats. And PAS will need 150 seats to amend the Federal Constitution of Malaysia and turn Malaysia into an Islamic State and then start cutting off the hands of crooks and bank robbers. The government has said Melayu Umno bodoh. I hope, after 8 March 2008, I do not have to start saying Cina DAP bodoh. I hope that the DAP Chinese will read the statement from PAS that they are not pursuing the Islamic State agenda any longer. They can't anyway, even if they win all the 60 seats they are contesting -- and they can never win all the 60 seats to begin with.

Najib says that the Chinese should reject DAP because DAP is working with PAS and PAS supports an Islam State. Najib is therefore saying that he too does not support an Islamic State. Najib says that the Malays should reject PAS because PAS is working with DAP and DAP supports a Secular State. Najib is therefore saying that he too does not support a Secular State. To the Malays, Najib says he does not support a Secular State and, to the Chinese, he says he does not support an Islamic State. So what then does Najib support? Well, it all depends on who he talks to. If he talks to the Chinese, he will whack the Islamic State and, if he talks to the Malays, he will whack the Secular State. Najib thinks that Melayu Umno bodoh and Cina DAP bodoh as well. Yang pandai Najib seorang saja.

Expect more of this the next 48 hours as Polling Day gets closer. Desperate people will do desperate things. And the loss of five states plus 90 seats in Parliament requires desperate measures. That will be what will happen these next 48 hours. Tapi jangan Melayu dan Cina semua jadi bodoh. India sudah celek mata. Melayu dan Cina maseh tutup mata ke?

I can't wait for the election..A MUST READ ITEM

damaipeace

Gentlemen, something to ponder...

You won't read this everyday, only 5 years (maybe 3 and a half year) ONCE!!

You may have received similar mails like this article but if that CHANGE and HELP our country and our next generation, will you copy and forward this to your friends and relatives?? Will you read, understand and explain the crucial decision we have to make? Let them understand their votes decide the future!!

It is absolutely crucial that the BN HAS TO BE denied its 2/3 majority in Parliament.

Even with 51% of the seats the BN will still rule the Government but they will be on their tippy, tippy toes. This is what we all want.

We want checks and balances. Firstly, if they lose the 2/3, it will cause a major psychological shock to the BN. It will most likely cause Abdullah Badawi's head to roll. The UMNO boys will replace him. If Badawi goes, the son-in-law, the cronies, the crooks, the thieves, etc., will all go too.

And the batch that replaces them will learn to pray to their gods more diligently, speak better Malay, Tamil and Mandarin, eat with chopsticks, sing Kongsi Raya songs and all the other good things that are needed to run this country properly.

Denying the BN the 2/3 is also crucial because it will mean that many BN (especially UMNO) candidates would not have public office. If they lose their MP and ADUN seats, they cannot become Ministers, Parliamentary Secretaries, State EXCO members, etc. This means their money tree will be cut off. They will no more be in a position to hand out goodies. UMNO and MCA will choke. This will cause great soul searching especially in UMNO

And MCA, which will finally lead to body piercing and ultimately head chopping.

It will change our politics for ever.

That is why it is absolutely crucial that all Malaysians stand up to bat for the future of this country. We do not need mere protest votes. We must Vote for drastic change. Out with the decrepit buggers. They smell and they are filthy. I can't wait for the elections.

Thousands of UMNO members will be voting against the BN this time. Among them will be Tun Dr Mahathir. Even more thousands of non-UMNO Malays will be doing the same thing.

Tun Dr Mahathir has made it plain that we should not vote for the BN. Dr Mahathir used discreet, indirect language. First he said that we should vote for 'credible candidates'. He then said that 'we cannot change UMNO from within; the change has to come from outside, so vote wisely'. Put together, these two indirect messages become a direct insistence from Dr Mahathir that we should not vote for the BN. He could not have been blunter.

We are most definitely going to see a very big swing in Malay votes this time around. This is where the Chinese and the Indians must step up to the plate and be ready to swing the bat. The Chinese in Penang , Kedah, Perak, Selangor, Kelantan and elsewhere have already made it known quite early on that they will not be voting for the BN this time. Let us reach out to our Chinese brethren and help reaffirm their commitment. Let us reassure ourselves that when the time comes, each of us does have the power in our hands to change our destiny and the destiny of this country which is our home. Let us be rid of the morons, imbeciles, the liars and the thieves. Also the murderers who have blown up Altantuya Shaarribuu Setev.

MCA and UMNO thought we are still like those days. Nearer to the dates of election, giving out "sweets" and "empty Promises" will work again this time!

Dear friends, they have forgotten about the POWER of the Internet now. We know too much of their tricks & we will not be cheated again!!

We have decided!!

We have decided!!

We have decided to CHANGE and to RESCUE our country!!!!

Vote for Justice. Vote AGAINST Corruption.

Vote for opposition to CHANGE the country for the better.

Let’s rebuild a MALAYSIAN country we call home.
