Tanah Merah Umno division lodges report against Tengku Adnan

Tanah Merah Umno division has lodged a police report against Umno secretary-general Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor for alleged abuse of power.

The report was made by division secretary Amran Abdul Rahman at the Sentul district police headquarters at 12.30pm Friday.

The report alleged Tengku Adnan in a written directive to the state liaison committee instructed it to take over the branch meeting in the state division without the knowledge of the division.

Earlier in a press conference at a hotel here, division acting head Nik Kamaruzaman Sulong said that Tengku Adnan allegedly interfered with the division’s affairs citing “internal problems” as the reason for the takeover.... selanjutnya.
