Diamonds are for Goody: Super-wealthy prince gifts pal Jade £3m ring

In a league table of odd couples, Jade Goody and Prince Azim of Brunei would surely rank near the top.
She is most famous for causing a diplomatic row with her allegedly racist remarks on Celebrity Big Brother.
He is an international playboy who stands to inherit a share of the £20billion fortune of his father, the Sultan.

Yet the two are so close that he has given her a string of gifts including a diamond ring believed to be worth £3million.
The pair have been seen a number of times in London with her fiancé, Jack Tweed, in tow.
At the launch of Watch it…Do it, her new DVD and step-by-step cooking guide, Miss Goody, 26, told the Mail: “I have become quite friendly with the Prince of Brunei. He wanted to meet me, we met and got on like a house on fire. He gave me a ring and it is huge, full of diamonds.
“He said, ‘Take this’; I was like, ‘I can’t’. I haven’t got it valued yet but he had one that was very similar and that is worth £3million.”
Miss Goody said the prince also got on well with her fiancé, who appeared with her on Celebrity Big Brother in January.
“The prince is just an amazing friend,” she added.
“We go round to his house, he’s wicked. I have met so many people through him like Johnny Depp and Mariah Carey.

“So now I am going to America with someone who looks after Will Smith and Halle Berry and they have taken a real interest in me and I have got a lot of work lined up in America.”
Miss Goody and Mr Tweed, 20, were recently seen with the prince in the back of his chauffeur-driven limousine.
At one point Miss Goody took hold of the playboy’s face and, watched by her fiancé, leant in for a friendly kiss on the cheek.
Prince Azim is on intimate terms with a number of showbusiness stars including Miss Carey, to whom he also gave a £3million ring.
Michael Jackson appeared at his 25th birthday party this summer.
Jeff Allen, the prince’s spokesman, said: “He met up with Jade a few times - once for dinner and another time to go to a club.
“They get on very well as they have the same sense of humour. They are looking into working on a few TV projects together in the U.S.”
The prince is the second son of the Sultan and fourth in line to the throne of Brunei, a tiny independent state on the island of Borneo in South-East Asia.

1. Sebelum disaman oleh Kerajaan Negeri Brunei, Putera Jefri Bolkiah (adik bongsu Sultan Brunei ) berbelanja purata RM1.7 juta sehari.
2. Putera Jefri kini menghadapi saman dari pelbagai pihak termasuk bekas Ratu Cantik California kerana mendakwa diperlakukan seperti hamba seks.
3. Turut menyaman beliau ialah bekas bodyguard isterinya & syarikat minyak wangi.
4. Dalam tempoh 10 tahun, Jefri telah membelanjakan B$2.7 bilion (RM6.2 bilion) utk kemewahan beliau.
5. Jefri memiliki kapal layar, kapal mewah, jet peribadi (termasuk Airbus A300 bernilai RM300 juta).
6. Jefri meminati kereta, beliau mempunyai 2,000 kereta, mostly kereta mewah dan kereta lumba.
7. Kapal layarnya, Bolkiah I dan Tits yang di dalamnya terdapat dua bot kecil, Nipple I dan Nipple II berharga RM138 juta.
8. Jefri memiliki koleksi lukisan mewah termasuk lukisan Renoir berjudul Jeunes Filles Au Piano (Perawan Di Sisi Piano) yg dibeli dengan harga 50 juta pound sterling (RM314 juta).
9. Perangai boros Jefri menjadi ikutan anaknya, Putera Hakeem. Hakeem membeli enam buah kereta Formula 1 milik pasukan terkenal McLaren yg berharga 650,000 pound sterling (RM4 juta) sebuah.
10. Selama enam hari sebanyak 10,000 barangan daripada pemegang mangkuk tandas bersalut emas, perkakas dapur,meja, peralatan gymnasium, helikopter dan simulator pesawat jet dilelong.
11. Jalan Pantai di Jerudong, Brunei di mana tempat lelongan diadakan penuh sesak dgn ribuan kenderaan orang ramai yang ingin menyertai lelongan tersebut.
12. Semasa lelongan seorang ahli perniagaan dari Indonesia berjaya membeli marmar berkualiti tinggi milik Jefri pd harga B$4 juta (RM9.12 juta).
13. Kira-kira 7,000 tan marmar yang cukup untuk membina sebuah lagi Taj Mahal dan masih ada lebihan untuk sebuah istana, dilelong pada hari terakhir.
14. Beberapa barangan lain terpaksa dijual dlm tender berasingan kerana harganya yg terlalu mahal. Antaranya ialah simulator kereta lumba Formula1, simulator Airbus A340 dan helikopter penggempur Commanche.
15. Walau apapun yang menimpa dirinya dan syarikat milik beliau, Jefri sebenarnya akan terus berada dalam golongan mewah.
16. Ketua Hakim Brunei telah membenarkan beliau menerima wang saraan sebanyak B$500,000 ( RM1.14 juta) setiap bulan.
17. Bagi orang yang telah sebati dengan kemewahan, jumlah tersebut tidak mencukupi untuk Jefri menyara empat orang isteri dan 17 anak beliau.
