Potongan Caruman KWSP tak praktikal
NST | Various parties have voiced concern about the procedure for workers to reduce their contribution to the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) by three per cent for two years, which the government has proposed.Wakakakakakak ... gua dah bilang. KWSP untuk simpanan, bukan untuk belanja. Konsep dah lari. Pariyahhhhh punya idea.
.....
Following up on the announcement, the EPF had instructed that those employees who did not wish to reduce their statutory contribution from 11 per cent to eight per cent a month would have to state that in writing by filling up a form
.....
Malaysian Trades Union Congress general secretary G. Rajasekaran said many employees would not bother filling out the form and, by default, would subscribe to the reduction from Jan 1 "somewhat compulsorily" when in principle, the exercise was voluntary.
.....
Noting that EPF contributions were savings meant for old age and that it was important that such savings were not reduced, he suggested that only those who wished to opt for the reduction be asked to sign KWSP Form 17A.
.....
The Malaysian Airlines System Employees Union (MA-SEU) thinks similarly.... selanjutnya.
Dari sapa ni? Dari RTB ....... rendang tak berbuah. Tinggi tak berbiji. Wakakakak

Segerakan siasatan Rasuah PKNS
Bukan senang nak cari bukti kalau tak der. Setakat dengar dengar tak main la.
Mana kala ... kakitangan PKNS pun bagaimana untuk tambil kalau semuanya pun pernah lakukan rasuah. Takut terpalit semuanya.

Protest over 100pc rent hike
NST | SHAH ALAM: Some 60 residents of Lembah Subang and Kota Damansara council homes demonstrated peacefully at the state secretariat building here yesterday to protest against the more than 100 per cent hike in their rents. They rose from RM124 to RM250 a month.
Chairman of the action committee Johari Nander said most of the residents were former squatters, single mothers, senior citizens and the disabled and many could not even afford the old rate.
The Kota Damansara residents started paying RM250 a month from May while those in Lembah Subang from July.
"There was no supervision and we feel neglected. We did not hear anything from the government and the next thing we knew, we were asked to pay RM250," said Johari.
He said they were also asked to pay an extra RM800 as a deposit on Oct 20, even though they had paid more than RM500 when they moved in years ago.

The Government of Mongolia reaffirms hereby that it has been consistently paying attention, from the very beginning of this cruel crime to the court proceedings. The Prime Minister and the Minister for Foreign Affairs (previous name) of Mongolia have sent letters twice each to their Malaysian counterparts expressing their confidence that related Malaysian authority would bring a murderer to justice and deliberate a fair court conviction for the case.
The Government of Mongolia deeply regrets that the Malaysian high court judge made a decision on October 31, 2008, to acquit Abdul Razak Baginda--the murder suspect for killing Mongolian ALTANTUYA Shaariibuu.
Although Mongolia has no legal rights to take part in the court proceedings, the Government of Mongolia is responsible for protecting legitimate rights and interests of its citizen under international treaties and national legislation.

The letter carries a statement by Mongolia's Government testifying that it will have a strong reasoning for turning to the international court in order to defend rights and interests of its citizen if the court's final decision results in unfair trial and proceedings.

PR Selangor’s Policy Not Curbing Corruption and Benefiting the Corruptors
malaysianwaves | I had a very interesting conversation with a Pakatan Rakyat activist friend of mine from Hulu Langat. He has taught me something that many had overlooked.
The Pakatan Rakyat’s Selangor government had passed a policy stating that politicians are not to be member to tender committee in every level of government in Selangor. This is meant to curb corruption that has existed since the BN time.
It was perceived that when politicians sits in the tender committees they tend to influence decisions and thus always end up awarding contracts to cronies.
The policy is passed with the intention to curb such practice. The downside to this practice is the assumption that all government employee are also clean from corruption. Since politicians are barred from becoming members of the tender committees, only government officials are allowed to sit in it. Unfortunately, the current crop of government employees that Selangor has are remnants from the BN days. They too benefited from the corrupt practices of UMNO and thus their decisions even today follow along the lines of what they were used to.
In other words, contracts and projects are still being awarded to UMNO cronies and UMNO machinery by the current crop of government employees whom have been passing projects to these people all the while. As a result, the UMNO rank and file are still siphoning money from the Pakatan Rakyat state government to oil the political machinery at the grassroot levels.... selanjutnya.
