malaysianinsider | In one of the rare moments when Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi did not meet the press after chairing the Umno supreme council meeting in Kuala Lumpur, Umno information chief Tan Sri Muhammad Muhd Taib in a doorstop interview just now told reporters that the council discussed about the Prime Minister's meetings with Pas.
He said that after meeting Pas leaders three times, there would be more meetings to discuss issues on Islam that both sides would not compromise. "The issue is not about anybody crossing over (to Umno)," he said. Other issues discussed were the on-going branch meetings and related party matters.
