Wanita Umno divisional meeting turns ugly

NST | The Kuala Selangor Wanita Umno divisional meeting today turned ugly following a chair-throwing incident and several branch delegates walking out of the meeting.
Before the incidents, the delegates had put up a protest when Kuala Selangor Wanita Umno permanent chairman Zaini Khalid refused to give them the opportunity to propose 10 branch delegates to attend the divisional meeting tomorrow.

The media were also prevented from entering the meeting hall to observe the election process.

The division had nominated Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil to contest the post of Wanita Umno head and Datuk Kamilia Ibrahim as its vice-head in the party elections in March.... selanjutnya.
