Kelang: 20% or four months behind schedule

Klang traffic chaos to last till mid-2010
THE work on an upgrading road project at the Klang end of the Federal Highway is six months behind schedule and motorists will now have to endure the daily traffic chaos until the middle of 2010.

According to Klang MP Charles Santiago, construction work is now 20% or four months behind schedule.

He said another shocking fact he discovered was that the project was originally planned and projected for the traffic needs in 2002.

“The federal government is now building traffic infrastructure proposed in 2002. So, how is the traffic volume after 2010 going to be accommodated?” he asked.
