PKR Youth to have failed PR Government leaders replaced

NST | Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Youth said today it would ensure that Pakatan Rakyat (PR) leaders who fail to implement the opposition coalition’s election manifesto pledges are replaced.
Its chief, Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin, said PKR Youth would have no choice but to seek the replacement of PR state government leaders who were hesitant to make changes or afraid of taking risks with people capable of leadership and decision-making.

“A government must be led, not just managed,” he said in his policy speech at the PKR Youth annual national congress, here.

Shamsul Iskandar said the election manifesto pledges included cleaning up the government of corrupt practices, and that the changes must be made immediately to prevent erosion of the people’s support for the coalition.

He said PKR Youth also urged the PKR leadership not to exclude members of the movement from positions in the party and the PR government.
