Hindu Rights Action Force (Hindraf) has put the Malaysian tradition of having open house during festive occasions at risk.
The Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage Ministry was reviewing the need for open house during celebrations because of security reasons, said its minister, Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal.

"I can see my friends in the cabinet are worried about security because some parties tend to stir things up during celebrations," he said at the ministry's Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house at the Craft Complex here, yesterday. - NST
