10 Umno chiefs want Cheras head to resign

NST - Ten Federal Territory Umno division chiefs are united against their Cheras counterpart Datuk Syed Ali Alhabshee.
They want him to resign before demanding the resignation of the city's BN chief and Federal Territories Minister Datuk Zulhasnan Rafique.

FT Umno information chief Datuk Suhaili Abdul Rahman said: "He syok sendiri (pleasing himself). He is also representing Umno. He should equally share the responsibility for losing 10 of the 11 seats in Kuala Lumpur to the opposition," he said at a press conference here.

Two days ago, Syed Ali had asked the prime minister to replace Zulhasnan with former BN chief Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor.

The division decided on this after an extraordinary general meeting.
Suhaili said the other division chiefs were in support of Zulhasnan.
