Cops misled by pig carcass

MStar - The police thought they were investigating a murder when they discovered a bag of bones inside a burnt Proton Satria.

However, things took a twist when they discovered a tail and that the carcass was that of a pig's.

Johor Baru (North) OCPD Asst Comm Ruslan Hassan said police discovered the carcass, with the tail still intact, in the back seat of the burnt car near a dumpsite in Kempas Baru at about 11am here yesterday.

“We believe some foreigners had dumped the carcass in there,” he said.
