KUALA LUMPUR, March 26 ─ Datuk Abdul Ghapur Salleh is believed to have quit his deputy minister’s position today, giving the Abdullah administration another jolt.
The veteran Sabah politician was appointed Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and the Environment. If his resignation is accepted, he will be the first senior official of the administration to quit after the swearing-in ceremony.
Earlier, two others ─ Tengku Azlan Abu Bakar and Datuk Anifah Aman ─ declined to be deputy ministers.
