NST - KUALA LUMPUR: Two small parties which contested in the general election and won on Parti Keadilan Rakyat tickets are not averse to joining the Pakatan Rakyat.
However, leaders from the Malaysian Democratic Party (MDP) and Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM) will only decide after discussions with their party committees.
MDP secretary-general Wee Choo Keong said if the move was good for the people, they would go for it.
Wee, who won the Wangsa Maju parliamentary seat, said the party needed time to consider it.
"We are quite busy right now setting up our service centre," he said yesterday.
PSM national chairman Dr Nasir Hashim said the party's central committee would discuss joining the Pakatan Rakyat this weekend. more...
