malaysianinsider - Two people named in Raja Petra Kamarudin’s statutory declaration on June 18 as having been present at the murder scene of Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu are suing the Malaysia Today editor for defamation. They are Lt-Col Aziz Buyong, described by Raja Petra Kamaruddin as a “C4 expert” in the statutory declaration, and Lt-Col Norhayati Hassan.The two together with Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, wife of Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, were said in the statutory declaration to have been present when the Altantuya was blown up with C4 explosives.
"I have been reliably informed that between about 10pm on October 19, 2006 and early hours of the following day, the night Altantuya Shaariibuu was murdered, three other people were also present at the scene of crime," Raja Petra said, according to his two-page statutory declarationp>
He named them as Aziz, Norhayati, who is also Aziz’s wife and said to be Rosmah’s , and Rosmah herself.Three people including two policemen are now on trial for Altantuya’s murder.Among other things, Aziz is seeking an apology from Raja Petra to be published in certain websites and newspapers, the removal of the statutory declaration from his blog and damages of RM1 million.
