thestar - Several people were called to the Selangor Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) on Friday to assist in investigations into a 57-year-old community leader held for asking for a RM1mil bribe.
Among those present at the ACA office to record their statements was Selangor state assembly speaker Teng Chang Khim.
When met at the state ACA office on Friday, its director Ja’afar Mahad said the agency had recorded statements from Teng and others to help in investigations into the case.
“More people would be asked to assist the investigations,” he said but declined to elaborate further.
The suspect, who is also a businessman and a well-known figure in Klang town, was arrested on Wednesday by the ACA for asking RM1mil in bribe to help settle the suit filed by Chinese teenager Xu Jian Huang’s family.>> selanjutnya
