malaysiainsider - The Barisan Nasional supreme council, which held an emergency meeting at Menara Dato Onn this afternoon, denounced Yong's no-confidence vote against Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, calling it "unprincipled, unethical, and against the spirit of Barisan".
"Action against SAPP and Datuk Yong Teck Lee will be taken after an official explanation (by SAPP) is given," said Datuk Tengku Adnan Mansor, the BN secretary-general, on behalf of Abdullah, who had stepped out of the conference room for prayers.
"This is not his party's stance," said Abdullah when he stepped back into the room after a few minutes. "The statement was made by Yong Teck Lee. That is why we're not taking action against the party."... selanjutnya.
