hardT - An official says all Barisan Nasional 'YES MAN' parties have pledged to support Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi against any no-confidence vote in Parliament.
The pledge came today during an emergency meeting of 12 of the 13 parties in the National Front coalition. It was called after a small party announced it would seek a vote of no-confidence against Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi on Monday.
National Front Secretary-General Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor told reporters that the vote called by the Sabah Progressive Party was "an unprincipled, unethical" act.
He said the remaining 12 party leaders pledged support for Abdullah. He said all government lawmakers have been told to vote against the no-confidence motion.... selanjutnya.
