Star | The Selangor Government has given the widow of the former Port Klang assemblyman Datuk Zakaria Md Deros a month to remove the fencing surrounding their mansion which was built on state land.
Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim said the state approved a 4,049 sq m land made up of eight lots for Zakaria through his wife Datin Azizah Ngah on July 3, 2003.
“The late Zakaria started the construction of his mansion without an approval of the building plan in early 2006 and was fined a total of RM19,373 or 10 times the building plan charge,” he told a press conference after the state exco meeting yesterday.
The house was completed in early October 2007 after getting approval, he said.
“However, there are issues related to the land surrounding the mansion, where 2,267 sq m has yet to be approved.... selanjutnya.
