Ongoing struggle for residents of Bandar Mahkota Cheras

TRYING AGAIN: It has been an ongoing struggle for residents of Bandar Mahkota Cheras as they again continue their attempts yesterday to remove the barrier blocking the toll-free access to the Cheras-Kajang Expressway. This follows a conflict on Tuesday, which saw 15 unidentified men assaulting the residents with sticks and helmets when the residents pushed down one concrete slab from the barrier. The barrier was put up due to an ongoing right-of-way tussle between highway concessionaire Grand Saga Sdn Bhd and Bandar Makhota Cheras developer Narajaya Sdn Bhd. More...
