Bala's Nephew Makes Another Police Report

bernama | balasubramaniam.jpgR. Kumaresan who filed a missing person’s report on Saturday over the disappearance of his uncle private eye P. Balasubramaniam and his family, lodged another report to the police Thursday.

This time was to complain against the police for not informing him that they had found his uncle in a neighbouring country.

“I should have been told about it early. This did not happen. My source was television and newspapers. I am disappointed with them (police),” he told reporters at the Brickfields police headquarters at about 3pm accompanied by lawyer N. Surendran.

He also asked the police to investigate whether his uncle had been forced to retract the sworn declaration dated July 1 on Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s alleged involvement with Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu

Balasubramaniam, his wife and three children disappeared after he made the retraction, a day after the sworn declaration was made public on July 3.

Kumaresan, 27, also said that at 1am today, Balasubramaniam contacted him and told him not to give statement to the media fearing that it could undermine his and his family’s security.

“He also reminded me not to disclose the content of our conversation. So, to protect his safety, I will not give anymore statement after this,” he said.... selanjutnya.
