Yahya Sahri is alleged to have written supporting letters for cleaning and garbage contracts to be awarded to certain companies.
nst - The Anti-Corruption Agency has yet to decide whether to charge Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim's special officer, Yahya Sahri, with alleged abuse of power in the awarding of cleaning contracts.
Selangor Anti-Corruption Agency director Jaafar Ma'ahad said investigations had been completed into the matter with a report forwarded to the agency's prosecution division.
"It's up to them to charge him or not," he said.
It had earlier been reported that the ACA probe had discovered Yahya had been guilty of "improper conduct" and not of involvement in wrongdoing.
Yahya had been alleged to have written supporting letters for cleaning and garbage collection to be awarded to several companies in Petaling Jaya.
Meanwhile, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department, Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz, said in Parliament yesterday that the ACA had not completed investigations in the matter.
"I understand that the case is still under investigation and that there is no official statement from the agency that investigations to the matter had been completed," he said in a response to Rembau MP Khairy Jamaluddin.... selanjutnya.
