Special meeting to be called on Bandar Mahkota Cheras access road issue

NST - The Selangor government will call for a special meeting with the federal government and Grand Saga Sdn Bhd, the concessionaire for the Cheras-Kajang Expressway, to resolve the issue on the access road to Bandar Mahkota Cheras.
Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim called on the residents to be patient, saying that the state government would find a solution to the problem so that residents in the area would not face any more obstruction from the company concerned.

“We have to sit down and hold a discussion between the state government, federal government and the concessionaire. And we will take into consideration the views of the residents concerned,” he said when met after receiving a memorandum from the residents of Bandar Mahkota Cheras in front of Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, here today.

The memorandum, which was handed over by the chairman of the Open Up Jalan Bandar Mahkota Cheras Committee, Tan Boon Wah, demanded that the Selangor Menteri Besar study and resolve the issue with regard to the access road to Bandar Mahkota Cheras immediately.
