The Federal Territories Ministry is looking into taking over the clean-up responsibilities delegated to solid waste management company Alam Flora.
Deputy Minister Datuk M. Saravanan said the ministry was “not satisfied” with the quality of work rendered and was now studying taking over Alam Flora’s duties or appointing others to do the task.
“We have to look into the legal impact and implications (of taking over from Alam Flora),” he told reporters after launching the Tapah parliamentary constituency’s community action unit yesterday.
Saravanan said Alam Flora had taken to hiring foreign workers in Kuala Lumpurand that was one of the reasons for the ministry’s dis-satisfaction. .... more at STAR
