Khairy, a first-time candidate, visits up to four places in one night. His schedule is so packed that journalists often do not receive news of his campaign plans for the next day until late at night via SMS.
He has also joined Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan at functions where he is introduced and is greeted enthusiastically by the crowd.
Mohamad had said that he undertook such introductions as Khairy, though a public figure, was actually not known “personally” by the people.

No2umno - Mungkin dihatinya berkata ... Siapa berani lawan aku? Polis mana berani tahan aku? BPR mana berani tangkap aku? Siapa berani berdepan dengan aku? Tak pernah lah wak jadi menentu Perdana Menteri tapi .... minta minta jangan lah. Bukan apa takut lupa dunia. Kalau usia muda Khairy sudah berubah menjadi hantu .... Kalau makin tua, makin menjadi. Kalau tak di sekat, Khairy akan menjadi SAKA, menakutkan orang lain dengan kuasa yang dia ada. Duit dan kuasa memang besar pengaruhnya.
